Today's late-afternoon game took us down to Cirencester. It took us a minute to warm up, during which Cirencester managed to pop in a cheeky goal early on. From that point onwards, though, we really locked in!
We were hungry for goals, and after some fabulous passing through midfield, Beth executed our first goal textbook-style, quickly followed by another. Our strong team play and communication continued right through to half-time, with Hannah scoring a fantastic goal from a great short corner.

In the second half, Cirencester were unable to add to their score, and despite the heat and lack of substitutes, our play remained strong. Our defence and keeper did a fantastic job keeping the opposition at bay, while we continued to dominate through midfield, creating opportunities that led to two more goals from Lottie and Hannah.

The whole team played as one, with fantastic communication, teamwork and determination from start to finish. Everyone had a brilliant game!

Well played, Colvern! ???

Final score 5-2 to Colvern ?
