Colvern 1s started the league with a trip to Gloucester on a beautiful September morning. Sadly the end result wasn't quite as beautiful as Gloucester exposed our start of season fitness levels! However the scoreline does not reflect the end to end game or the many chances we had on goal. Some great phases of play by all was highlighted by the spread of votes for player across the team with no clear winner. Special mentions to Lucy on her league debut and to Cassie returning after the birth of our new adorable mascot.
Donut had a few nominations with players having little lie downs on the pitch but Baggs believing the game was home and calling the wrong team name takes the crown.
Bring on the rest of the season
