Colvern has their first home game of the season against Bretforton. With a debut performance to new comer Charlie and a warm welcome back to Jess!

From the first quarter, Colvern brought fantastic attacking energy and strong defensive pressure. Bretforton managed to capitalise on a few fast breaks, resulting in goals slipping past us. However, Colvern’s hard work paid off with a well-deserved and beautifully finished goal from Anna.

The second half saw Colvern come out fighting to close the gap, with a goal from PG followed by a second from Anna. Unfortunately, a goal from Baggs went unnoticed, meaning Colvern weren’t able to close the gap enough to draw the game.

Despite the result, it was a fantastic match with consistent play and a brilliant team effort from everyone. Plenty to be proud of!
